Support for Haiti
We are embarking a donation drive for Haiti to support the relief efforts. This Thursday and Friday, we will be on St Catherine and Maisonneuve to take monetary donations from people, please come out in your numbers to help us out!

New York trip
CSU/ASFA is organising the annual New York trip. Tickets are on sale at ASFA and CSU offices. $175 for all students and $195 for Non Concordia students!

Many Tastes Of Concordia! The Sequel
Because we know you didn't eat enough over the holidays…
The CSU is hosting its second installment of Many Tastes, so drop by for some good eats and some great entertainment! It's also a fantastic way to learn about our clubs, cultural societies and fee levy groups, so come by and get involved!

Book Exchange
Your CSU, in joint collaboration with faculty associations, ASFA, CASA, ECA and FASA, is hosting a winter Inter-Faculty Book Exchange to help YOU sell and buy used text books at a fair and equitable price for both the seller and the buyer. Starts tomorrow, January 5th.

Our Inter-Faculty Book Exchange is not-for-profit, run “For Students, By Students” and in place to give you a chance to save your money!

The best way to get involved in this process is by registering and viewing books on the Inter-Faculty Book Exchange website and then by dropping your books off at one of the locations indicated. Begin posting your books and as soon as you drop off your book with one of our staff members, and your ad will be approved for sale!

Books will be sold on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to be the first in line!

Speaker Series
Michael Ignatieff, leader of Canada’s largest opposition party, will be speaking at Concordia on January 12 at 3.30-5pm. Venue will be Hall building 7th floor. We invite all students to come have their questions answered.
Lisa Glithero, a seasoned environmentalist and youth advocate will be speaking on “Education for Change: A Vision for a Sustainable 21st Century” at Concordia university on January 27 at 4.30-6pm in H 110. Come and engage this motivating speaker as she shares her knowledge and her famous slideshow with all Concordia students.
