Initiatives will include:

-Vocal public support for expansion of mass transit in and around metro Buffalo
-Contacting local elected officials to push for the adoption of an oil depletion protocol to provide for a safe, civil distribution of resources as Buffalo progresses through the end of cheap oil and natural gas
-Support for local farmers, retail distributors, soap makers, woodworkers, printers, and everyone else with an important role to play in a post-fossil fuel economy
-Advocacy for real steps towards permanent sustainability such as the creation of new urban farms, the retrofitting of our homes and businesses, and the revitalization of local commerce networks
-Educating ourselves and others about the implications of peak oil, trades and skills related to sustainable communities, and community planning
