- QUE SON LOS ENGENDROS? / WHAT ARE ENGENDROS?
Engendros no son simples peluches!!
Son seres reales, alegres cada cual con su personalidad diferente y sus inquietudes particulares, que nos ayudanare-descubrir e identificar cualidades positivas y negativas de la personalidad de cada uno, mediante una
re-interpretación creativa y lúdica del Eneagrama.
Los Engendros siempre han vivido dentro de nosotros, en las profundidades inexploradas del inconsciente, y hoy han decidido salir a la superficie de la conciencia para cumplir su gran y secreta misión: “rescatar nuestro niño interior, que la sociedad se ha encargado de hacernos olvidar”
Engendros aren’t just simple toys!!
They’re real living beings, each one with their own distinct personality and mood. Engendros help us to rediscover and identify those same positive and negative qualities in our own personalities, tapping into the creative and playful powers of the Enneagram.
The Engendros have always lived inside of us, playing in the deep and unexplored reaches of our unconscious!!! Today they have decided to come out and play with us in the real world, hoping to complete their sacred and secret mission: “To rescue the inner child living inside each and every one of us”
EL ENEAGRAMA / THE ENNEAGRAM
El Eneagrama es un método milenario que identifica y define 9 tipos (eneatipos) de personalidades diferentes en el ser humano. Se representa mediante un símbolo compuesto por un círculo y una figura de nueve puntas.
Ningun enatipo es mejor o peor que otro. Todos tienen aspectos positivos que potenciar y aspectos negativos que superar... ¡! Y todos tienen algo que aportar a este mundo!!!
El Eneagrama es considerado el sistema de identificación de personalidad más completo y útil jamás descrito.
Es una herramienta que sirve para descubrirnos y aceptarnos, con las cualidades positivas (virtudes) y negativas (defectos) que hay que potenciar o bien mejorar de nuestra personalidad. Además, nos permite descubrir cuál es nuestra verdadera esencia y no lo que el entorno ha hecho de nosotros.
Su adecuada utilización como método terapéutico hace del eneagrama una potente herramienta que nos puede ayudar a ser más tolerantes con las personas y en especial con nosotros mismos.
The Enneagram is an ancient oriental method which identifies and defines the 9 types (enneatypes) of different personalities in human beings, represented by a symbol made of a circle with a nine pointed figure inside.
No single enneatype is better or worse than another. All of them have positive qualities to bring out, and negative qualities to overcome. All of them have something to give to our world.
Considered the most complete and useful method of personality identification in the world, the enneagram is a therapeutic tool which helps us to discover and accept ourselves, revealing our qualities both positive (virtues) and negative (defects) which we can improve and strengthen.
This process helps us to discover our original and internal essence, realizing not what have become, but what we are; helping us to become more tolerant of others and, most importantly, of ourselves.
ENGENDRO UPY (Nº 1)
The Perfectionist – El Perfeccionista
Upy is the angel of the Engendros crew: principled, critical, moralistic; spending his time trying to do good and change the bad attitudes and impulsive behavior of others. Because he considers his lifestyle and actions to be good examples for everyone to follow, he feels like he is always in the right.
Disciplined and industrious, he aspires to reach the highest and most supreme states of perfection, making himself a pair of white wings just like an angel. Critical even of himself, UPY is not satisfied with the shape of his wings, but you can be sure he’ll keep working at them until one day he gets them perfect!!!
Engendro de altos principios, crítico y profundamente moralista, Upy anda por la vida juzgando las malas actitudes y las conductas impulsivas de los otros. Ya que según él, se considera un engendro intachable y por ese motivo, el siempre tendrá la razón.
Upy, a través de una rígida disciplina, aspira en lo pronto alcanzar el estado de suprema santidad y para ello se auto fabricó un par de alas blancas como las del ángel Gabriel.
Lo curioso de este hecho es que Upy está molesto ya que todavía no las puede terminar como las imaginó, o sea “perfectas”, pero no dudamos que algún día lo pueda lograr, para alcanzar así la suprema santidad.
ENGENDRO TULI (Nº 2)
The Nice Guy – El Amistoso
Generous and enthusiastic, Tuli is the friendliest creature of the Engendros crew - never acting according to his own interests and always sharing his positive vibes with others. There’s only one little problem, nobody trusts Tuli’s good intentions because of his striking physical resemblance to a little red devil. Tuli doesn’t let that stop him though, he keeps right on proposing and planning new projects without worry, for example: scales for scale less fish, and new shells for old turtles – projects which have helped him become a regular favorite to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Tuli, es una criatura muy amable, generosa y entusiasta. Nunca actúa por interés propio y le gusta expresar sentimientos positivos hacia los otros.
Pero Tuli tiene un pequeño problemita, nadie confía en sus buenas intenciones debido a su parecido físico con el Diablillo
Sin embargo Tuli no se desanima en su bondadoso cometido y lo encontramos por estos días organizando importantes colectas como por ejemplo: la colecta por los pescados con menos escamas o la colecta por las tortugas sin caparazón, lo que lo ha llevado a consolidarse como uno de los postulantes favoritos al Premio Nóbel de la paz.
ENGENDRO LUKA (Nº3)
The Successful One – El Exitoso
The most productive, successful, and confident of the Engendros crew, Luka believes that money is one of the greatest human inventions the world has ever known, and that making it is a real art form.
His passion is discovering new and wild businesses like: aroma therapy caskets, scale-balance shaped sofas chairs, monotone roosters for ecological alarm clocks – in short, exclusive products for exclusive people.
Even if some of his crazy ideas aren’t understood, Luka, ever persistent, doesn’t worry; his green head just keeps on filling with the next wild idea and invention!!
Del clan, es el más productivo, exitoso y seguro de si mismo.
Luka, cree que el dinero es uno de los inventos más grandes del ser humano y hacer riqueza ¡un verdadero arte!
Su pasión es descubrir nuevos negocios como vender ataúdes con olor a frutas, sillas cojas como sofisticados balancines, un gallo afónico como despertador ecológico, en fin productos exclusivos para gente exclusiva.
Sin embargo nuestro persistente amigo no se desanima si sus locas ideas no son bien entendidas, ya que siempre tendrá mil ideas nuevas girando en su verde cabeza.
ENGENDRO FLOPO (Nº4)
The Artist – El Artista
A poetic creature who seeks to help man kind with his creativity, Flopo is sensitive and rebellious, creative and decisive. An ally of poetry and intuition, Flopo believes less in reason and more in his heart, transcending the limits of boredom and reality, hoping to inspire the world with his art.
Inseparable friend of the right side of the brain, Flopo came to the brave conclusion that if he didn’t do one crazy thing a day, he himself would go crazy - to which end he has proposed to read Tarot cards for free, once a week, in order to convert years of psychoanalysis into twenty minutes of imagination!!!
Flopo se presenta como un ser sensible pero a la vez rebelde.
Dejó de creer en la razón para aliarse a la poesía de la intuición y junto a ella, traspasar todo límite de esta aburrida realidad.
Amigo inseparable del hemisferio derecho del cerebro, llegó a la valiente conclusión de que si no hace una locura al día se volvería loco.
Por otra parte, esta poética criatura busca ayudar a la humanidad y para ello, se ha propuesto leer gratis el tarot una vez por semana, para ahorrar en un par de minutos, años de psicoanálisis.
ENGENDRO ODO (Nº5)
The Thinker – El Pensador
Odo is motivated by the necessity to know and understand EVERYTHING. Where do we come from? Who are we? Where are we going?, and if possible, how does the psychic energy of the universe relate to the Juice Master in the closet.
Creature with only one eye (button), he is very analytical and perseverant while developing ideas, to the point where he sometimes becomes reclusive and isolates himself from reality.
But Odo always returns!!!! Heeding the voice of the wisdom found deep in his intellect,
“Odo, the time of searching is over, now it is time to discover!!!!”
Odo está motivado por la necesidad de conocer y entenderlo todo. ¿De donde venimos? ¿Quienes somos? ¿Hacia donde vamos? , y si es posible, cómo funciona el psiquismo del universo y la juguera de la casa.
Criatura de un solo ojo o “botón”, es muy analítico y perseverante al momento de desarrollar sus ideas hasta el punto de recluirse y aislarse de la realidad.
Sin embargo desde lo profundo de sus intelectuales reflexiones una voz le recuerda:
“Odo, basta ya de seguir buscando llegó el momento de encontrar”.
ENGENDRO TOLO (Nº6)
The Loyal One – El Leal
Tolo is the most loyal, careful and practical of the Engendros crew. He prizes comfort and security in his daily actions, but sometimes turns the simplest decisions into the most difficult!! Why, you might ask? Simple!! Because Tolo’s need for stability always makes him think twice, or three times, or four….!!!!
Should I stay or should I go? Should I feed the cat or the dog? Should I eat chocolate or strawberries?
Loyal and pro-active, Tolo laughs at his own indecision in front of others, repeating his favorite saying,
“When in doubt, don’t shout, just don’t decide!!!”
Tolo es una criatura leal, cuidadosa y práctica. Busca a toda costa su seguridad y estabilidad en sus acciones diarias, pero cada una de ellas por sencilla que parezca se ha transformado para Tolo en una verdadera hazaña, y ¿por qué? te preguntarás….
¡Muy simple! Tolo padece el síndrome de la duda: ¿hago o no hago?, ¿Voy o no voy?, ¿le daré comida al gato?...
Y para salir airoso de estos acertijos ante los demás, Tolo recurre a su refrán favorito:
“En caso de duda, no determine, cosa alguna.”
ENGENDRO DUPO (Nº7)
The Multitasker – El Multifacético
Dupo is an optimistic engendro, happy and spontaneous, and can usually be found in the midst of realizing several projects and games at the same time!!!
The youngest of the Engendros crew, Dupo was born with four arms, each one constantly realizing a different activity!! His left arms might be painting and writing, while his right arms might be hammering away and playing ping-pong!!! Wooow!!! Never having placed limits on himself, Dupo also believes in a world and a future without limits!!!
With his free yet busy life style filled with his own activities, Dupo sometimes fears he might lose all his prized freedom; and so, with his four arms, he found no better solution than to sew a little pocket onto his belly as the perfect hiding place for his freedom!!!
Dupo es un engendro optimista, alegre y espontáneo, generalmente lo encontramos muy ocupado realizando diferentes actividades a la vez, ya que para él en el mundo no hay límites y por lo tanto él tampoco los quiere tener.
El eterno adolescente del clan, nació con cuatro brazos y con cada uno de ellos realiza una actividad diferente, con los izquierdos pinta y escribe y con los derechos martilla y juega ping pong.
En esta frenética forma de vida haciendo siempre lo que se le plazca, Dupo teme perder su libertad y para no perderla no encontró mejor solución que esconderla en un pequeño bolsillo, cosido a su panza.
ENGENDRO KUCO (Nº8)
The Leader – El Líder
With an intense personality, both passionate and strong, Kuco has earned the title of Leader of the Engendros crew by his own merit. Defender of all unjust causes, Kuco loves to explain at length and in detail all of the many reasons for which good and justice must prevail. Half orange, and half red, when Kuco gets angry, its better just to turn around and walk away!!!
Where ever he goes in this wide world, Kuco makes himself heard, to the point where he is controlling (right now) the person writing his bio!!!! Don’t worry Kuco, I’m telling them everything!!!
De personalidad intensa, fuerte y apasionada, Kuco por méritos propios se ha ganado el titulo de Líder dentro del clan, siendo una de sus principales motivaciones defender toda causa injusta y por ese motivo, jamás lo verás callar!!!
Mitad naranjo, mitad rojo, de su carácter ni hablar, ya que Kuco cuando se enoja mejor dar media vuelta y arrancar!!!
Donde quiera que vaya, Kuco no pasa desapercibido ya que necesita tenerlo todo bajo su control, al punto de controlar (valga la redundancia) al que está escribiendo su historia, quién por “razones obvias” tendrá que dejar este texto hasta aquí…!!!
ENGENDRO MITRI (Nº9)
The Peacemaker – El Pacífico
Mitri is the most lovable and tolerant creature in the Engendro crew. His goal in life is to attain “Peace on Earth” to which end he realizes some very curious activities: more than 12 hours of sleep per day, and another 8 in front of the TV!!!! Nevertheless he prefers not to talk too much because this would force him to explain the unexplainable, helping him to lose the precious energy he worked so hard to attain.
Incredibly, the notable sleeping routine of this peaceful Engendro successfully activated his spiritual enlightenment, opening his magical third eye, allowing him to perceive and see that which most of us cannot.
Mitri es el Engendro más amable y tolerante del clan, la meta de su vida es lograr la Paz y para contribuir a ella lo encontramos realizando actividades muy curiosas como por ejemplo: dormir más de 12 horas diarias y pasar otras 8 frente al televisor.
Sin embargo prefiere no contarlo ya que tendría que explicar lo inexplicable y según él, esto le haría perder bastante energía, que por lo demás le cuesta mucho reponer.
Lo curioso, es que a través de esta notable rutina nuestro pacífico amigo ha logrado la iluminación, abriendo su tercer ojo lo que le ha permitido percibir cosas que otros jamás llegarán a ver.
