It has come to our attention that Young Women on Facebook are being targeted with ads asking them to "donate" their eggs. Egg "donation" has less to do with donation and sadly more to do with exploitation of women's body. While offering large sums of money, young women are enticed to sell their eggs. Currently in the U.S. there is absolutely no monitoring, tracking or follow-up of young egg donors. And it is a fact that egg donation carries risks! Short terms risks of infection, stroke, bleeding, and myriad symptoms related to Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome. Even, in rare instances - death.
