Contemporary Extension (CX) is an art interest group of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art dedicated to engaging young art enthusiasts in modern and contemporary art and museum culture. CX members actively support SFMOMA and the arts community through unique educational and social events while enjoying special access to a world-class arts institution and the most exciting art of the 20th and 21st centuries.

CX supports the museum’s expanding arts education programs through innovative collaborations with artists, museum members, and community organizations.
