So there we were, hurtling into the mid/late thirties, and decided to plan an epic trip around the UK. My good friend, Mr Bear, and I plan to start this adventure and cycle around the coast of the British Isles (or is that UK?!), one week(end) at a time.

We started at the weekend of April 19th, in Gravesend. And that’s about as planned as it gets. We might go fixed. We might go single speed (Mine is the Charge Plug, he has a rather lovely Surly Crosscheck. We might camp. We might not.

At least the one bit of certainty is that it will be hard, but a huge amount of fun. And to capture the journey both in and out of the saddle we have created a blog. We will use it to plan the route, what to take and report on what happens. And this little Facebook group is to keep all our chums updates! (read less)
