Description:
You've read about colony collapse disorder and the desperate plight of the honey bee. You may also be aware that bee colonies are some of the most complex, beautiful, intelligent and useful miracles of evolution. Let's help the bee become the new polar bear. Raise public awareness and have some mad (confuse the hell out of friends & followers) new media fun at the same time.

It's simple:
1. swarm: ie invite other friends to join this group
2. change your twitter/FB pics to a bee photo

Gavin Who would have thought there is a Bee-keeping book for your mobile!!

You can get it in the new Downloads section of http://www.Tweehive.mobi from your phone along with bee wallpapers, videos and ringtones...

Imagine being on the bus with bees swarming as your ringtone....I forgot I had it on!!

Camp for Climate Action 2009
26 Aug - 2 Sept, London
Public Swoop on Wednesday 26 August. The exact location will be announced on the day.

http://www.climatecamp.org.uk

With the city lights in sight, you pitch your tent alongside thousands of others. Another future emerges from the ground. Welcome to the Climate Camp.

Last... year thousands of people camped at Kingsnorth coal fired power station, casting a big question mark over new coal in the UK. Then in the spring of this year thousands of people swooped on the city whilst the G20 was meeting in London: tents were pitched and the carbon trading centre in the hub of the financial district shut its doors for the day.

The Camp for Climate Action returns to London to prepare for an autumn of mass action in the run up to the United Nations climate talks in Copenhagen this December.

While our banks and politicians fail us, Climate Camp will be creating a vision of real democracy. Because the future is not what it used to be.

Tweehive now has a mobile application all of its own.

2,500 people have already downloaded the Tweehive Mobile WebApp in the last 48hrs.

What is means is that you can get a Tweehive icon on your phone that launches Tweehive.mobi and makes your partner/friends/colleagues surprisingly curious about the new orange button on... your phone.

There are three ways to get the App on your mobile:

The App is so far working on 296 different types of handset, so it should work on your phone (unless you have an iPhone - anyone who wants to make one please do)

1. Go to www.Tweehive.mobi > Download Tweehive and choose your link
2. Go to m.GetJar.com -> Quick Download -> enter Quick Download Code 60933
3. Go to m.GetJar.com and search for Tweehive

Even if you are going to tweet on PC, download the App, show it around and we can get up the charts - the higher we get the more people we attract.
