Mykonians express their sorrow for the loss of Doujon Zammit

Εμείς οι νέοι Μυκονιάτες εκφράζουμε την θλιψη μας για τον θάνατο του Ζάμιτ. Η σκέψη μας συνοδεύει την οικογένεια του που αυτή τη στιγμή περνα δύσκολες ώρες. Ολοι έμεις περάσαμε και θα περνάμε απο το σημείο αυτό που ο Ζάμιτ έζησε τις τελευταίες του στιγμες. Ο καθένας απο εμάς θα μπορούσε να είναι στην θέση του. Για αυτό η τραγωδία αυτή μας αγγίζει περισσότερο. Πιστεύουμε οτι η δικαιοσύνη θα αποδώσει ευθύνες στους ενόχους. Είμαστε κάτοικοι του νησιού και θέλουμε την Μύκονο όπως την ζήσαμε παιδία, χωρίς μπράβους και νονούς της νύχτας. Ελπίζουμε οτι οι αρμόδιες αρχές θα προβληματιστούν με το γεγονός αυτό και θα λάβουν τα αναγκαία μέτρα.

“This is a group made by Mykonians who want to express their sorrow for the death of Zammit. Our thoughts are with Zammit’s family which is having a difficult time after his death. We all used to visit to the same beach where Zammit lost his life and some of us still do. Each of us could have been the victim. For this reason, this tragedy touches us even more. We believe that justice will punish the ones guilty for his death. We, citizens of the island, want to live in the island of our childhood. An island with no bouncers and night barons! We hope that the authorities will take into account the real causes of Zammit’s tragic death and implement the necessary measures.”

This group is for all those who want to express their sorrow. By creating it, I wanted to show that there are Mykonians who really care about what is going on in the island. Whether you a local inhabitant, a visitor or someone who has been moved by Zammit’s tragic end you are welcome to join the group and add your comments. Please circulate the call for this group to as many people possible.
