This group was originally formed to provide a space for people who read books by professor Roger Scruton.

Now, it is, however a space for people to discuss conservative litterature by any writer. The group remains called "The Roger Scruton readers group" as a tribute to one of the greatest right wing thinkers of today.

This is a cybersomewhere to discuss the contents of conservative books with others, a place to recommend books by conservative writers, as well as a place for people who wish to discuss conservative ideas or simply ask questions, if they have not previously read anything by conservative writers.

This is not just a place for people who appreciate conservative ideas, but a place for everyone slightly interested in them, including people who oppose them. Keep in mind, however, to keep a civil tone. Common laws of decency and courtesy apply. Before posting anything, ask yourself if you would say the thing you are about to post openly in a real life discussion. If not, then don't bother posting!
