Welcome!
You've come to the facebook group that we lovingly call 'The House that the Echelon Built,' which is basically a supporter page for our efforts in helping Habitat for Humanity (through their HopeBuilders campaign) build houses for those in need.
The idea for this particular house build was started by members of the 30 Seconds to Mars street team, the Echelon. The band helped out with a build in their hometown of LA, and we wanted to do something worthwhile to help out as well.
It`s an international project- a little more proof that when people come together, good things can happen.
Regardless of how you made your way to this page, or whether you know anything about the Echelon - that simply isn`t important. What`s important is that we help Habitat for Humanity build homes for those in need.
Please note that despite the site being in the UK, I specified that the money go to whatever country and region needs it most. HFH will choose where the funds go once we get each house done, so it really is an international project and we need all the help we can get.
Even if you can only spare a little, "lots of littles make a lot."
Thanks for stopping by, and remember to spread the link around for this worthwhile cause.
TO DONATE: Simply go to this site:
http://www.echelonhouse.weebly.com
The "HELP US HELP OTHERS" link will take you directly to the HFH page, but there are lots of other things on the site to take a look at, including a currency converter, help with how to donate, promotional banners to use online, and 'stuff for sale' that you can purchase in exchange for a donation to the house.
Go check it out!
And as always, thanks for your support,
-Lily (Lily_17)
