The Museum was originally dedicated in 1905 as the
Antigo Public Library through a $15,000 grant from the
Carnegie Foundation.
The facility houses a wonderful archive complete with old scenes and pictures of the early days, as well as, artifacts from Antigo and the Langlade County area.
Artifacts include items from the Indian era, early agricultural, woodworking, lumbering implements, a military room, a one room school room, newly constructed train room, gift area, and MUCH MORE!
The Museum, Deleglise Cabin, and Steam Engine 440, are maintained for the publics enrichment though the efforts of the Langlade County Historical Society, a non-profit organization.
