SurfTheChannel.com was launched in early October 2007 with the aim of indexing links to "all videos, everywhere" and listing them in easy to navigate pages. Quite a task considering the millions of videos online!
As the project has developed we have tried various different layouts and systems eventually settling on a simple search engine style of site. This format has developed into the premier
video indexing website on the internet visited by 21 million unique users per month. This accounts for over 200 million unique pages viewed every month.
In December 2008 "Surf The Channel" was named as the 10th fastest rising search query on Google. Also in
December 08 STC made progress with several TV networks, studios and broadcasters and finally signed various deals to index and link to their content.
