News:
Nethy and Deshar started their migration south - unfortunately Deshar didnt make it - Nethy travelled to Senegal and settled at Lac de Guiers - sadly, there has been no movement from the satellite readings and she is presumed dead.

9.1.09 - Nethy has started moving again - according to Alice on the RSPB LG site she appears to be roosting close to an island, close to Fetto and Koutango in Senegal having briefly flown south into Gambia then back to Senegal.

We are all getting excited now - not long now until they return to our shores!

8.3.09 - Its started - Beatrice is on the move north! Keep up to date with Roy Dennis' blog for up to date news on the osprey migration http://www.roydennis.org/Roy's%20Blog.htm

19.3.09 Beatrice, Morvern are making good progress - Nimrod hasnt moved yet! Wonder where EJ is - several osprey sightings have now been reported - they are on their way!

26.3.09 EJ returned to Loch Garten last night.

2.04.09 - Sad news from the team at Loch Garten - signals from her transmitter have been from the same location for the last 2 weeks - the team believe we have lost her - there is the possibility her sat tag has come off - lets just hope that it is the case - to lose Deshar and Wee Yin was awful but Nethy as well ........ :(

3.4.09 - A Male arrives at the nest - great excitement - initiallly we thought it was Henry (lots of wishful thinking) but LG have confirmed it is NOT - no leg rings and a bird of unknown origins - they have mated several times and EJ seems to be enjoying all the attention - watch this space for further developments (wish I could type the drum bit from Eastenders just as its about to start ....)
