- A Natural Hygienist is one who desires to live with respect to the Laws of Nature.
We eat the foods that we are designed for: fresh ripe whole fruits from the trees & bushes & tender young leafy (easily digested) vegetables from Mother Earth & a small amount of nuts & seeds.
One food at a meal is best, or we food-combine up to four foods.
We abstain from animal & dairy products (being vegan & kind to animals in all ways). We avoid all bitter vegetables, stimulants & irritants, including raw chocolate, caffeine, salt, sea salt, pepper, vinegar, oils, refined sugar, honey, herbs, spices, garlic, onions, radishes & all condiments.
Natural Hygiene concerns itself with the Laws of Nature & our whole person, including our physiological & biological needs, to regain, maintain & achieve new levels of excellence of health, to whatever degree is possible for each individual.
Our lifestyle is according to all the true needs of life including: fresh air, pure water, rest, adequate sleep, sunshine, activity & exercise, wholesome raw organically-grown natural foods, play & recreation, comfort, internal & external cleanliness, mental & emotional poise, self-mastery, security of life & its means, creative useful work, belonging to a group or a social circle, kind human touch, expressing love for others, satisfaction of our aesthetic senses, developing a positive attitude & fulfilling of our life's purpose.
One is in tune with one's instincts to balance each person's needs of mind, body & spirit.
Adapting to a natural lifestyle will allow the body’s own wonderful natural self-healing process to work as it should, according to each person's health.
When we wish to remove toxins from our systems, we may employ supervised water-only fasting, in a supportive environment with total rest, providing certain criteria are met, including a doctor's advice about any medications, before beginning the fast.
One's purpose is to live in a positive social & physical state & a loving environment.

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month in Toronto, ON, for a shared dinner and discussion.
We gather indoors during the cooler times and outdoors when warmer.
Ours meetings are about holding the light and shining it out to the world, about sharing what we can do, to potentially defeat what Hygienists call toxaemia.
