SPRITE is an ASUA based organization that seeks to promote a positive atmosphere for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender students and their straight allies! SPRITE stands for Students Promoting Respect for Individuality Through Example.

So what exactly do we do?
Some weeks we have a discussion related to issues in the GLBT and straight ally community. Some weeks, in lieu of the discussion, we provide a series of workshops brought to us by EON and the PRISM Project. We have social events, such as our Hallloween Party and Second Chance Prom, and awareness projects, such as the red ribbon project for World Aids Day and the Day of Silence in the spring. We are a pretty chill group that is small enough to get to know everyone, but large enough to keep things interesting! There is no obligation to come to each meeting as we are not membership based, although we'd love to see everyone that often. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. (read less)
