The Muslim Students Association is a student organization which seeks to impart the pure teachings of Islam to Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. Additionally, we hope to aid in fostering true brotherhood and sisterhood among Muslims on campus. This we hope to achieve through jumma khutbas on campus, lectures, workshops, halaqas/study circles, holding iftars and taraweeh prayer on campus and other similar events.
Prayers are held in an area on the 3rd floor of Johnson Center, labeled as the "Quiet Meditation Area". Congregation is usually held minutes after the Athan.
It doesn't matter if you aren't a member of the MSA, or if you are not even a muslim. If you are just curious about Islam or simply call yourself a Muslim... Join the Muslim Students Association.
