- This is a Facebook group for current, old, and interested members. You'll get updates sent to your Facebook through this group (warning: probably alot)
If you just want to keep tabs on photos from campus, parties, events, and sports, then you should search Facebook to become a "Fan" of University Photo Service
UA Photo Service is [basically] an enthusiast group that does all kinds of fun stuff related to photography. We meet together, hang together, travel together, shoot together, and work together. We have our own office in the campus center [305] which contains a darkroom and studio. As a group we produce mostly for Torch Yearbook, but also work for student groups, individuals, and university departments. With revenue we travel, buy equipment and darkroom supplies. Neither camera nor knowledge is necessary for membership- all are welcome. Current members range from bare beginners to advanced novice. For those just starting the group can be a place to get purchasing advice, general photography knowledge, specific techniques, studio experience, and the like. For those more advanced it can be grounds for honing of skill, fun group shootings, and the like. For members who submit photographs to our sister group, Torch yearbook, free film and printing supplies are available.
Come check us out- we are currently holding meetings on Tuesdays at 8:00pm in our office [CC305- down the hall from NYPIRG].
