The Undergraduate Marketing Association at UC Berkeley is dedicated to providing a bridge between the students and the marketing world.
We provide our members with hands on experience in consulting, design and creative strategy. In addition we provide ample opportunities for our members to interact and network with marketing professionals and develop their knowledge about the wide field of marketing.
CONSULTING DIVISION- We provide Consulting Services in the field of branding, strategy, portfolio analysis, advertising and market research for companies around the Bay Area. Our clients this semester include MICROSOFT and JFK UNIVERSITY.
CREATIVE DIVISION- design and generate advertising campaigns for our clients. You get the opportunity to create real ad designs that are used by our clients. It's a great way to build your portfolio! All majors accepted!
EVENTS DIVISION- Coordinate, organize and host UMA's Spring '09 Annual Charity Fundraiser! Last semester, we hosted The Search at Cal, a big scaled talent contest with an audience of over 150 students, including guest performer Nick Pitera! This semester we have an exciting new event to host. We'll be disclosing the details of this event at our First General Meeting!

In addition to our 3 primary divisions, we offer various different networking events and workshops to educate our members about the various different aspects of marketing and expose them to marketing-related careers.
We offer speaker panels with speakers from companies such as Google, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, ZS Associates and much more! In addition we provide our members with exclusive office tours to companies such as DreamWorks Animation and Clorox. We also have various different marketing workshops, forums, case competitions, professor dinners, and lots of internal socials and bondings :)
