Ladies and Gents!
Welcome back to school, sorry we've been slacking over the break. This email is a quick and entire update on what is going on with the club and the term. Please read it in entirety as it all pertains to you.

If you're getting this email multiple times, we apologize. We're organizing the email lists later tonight so it won't happen again.

PAID MEMBERS!
1. REC Club Bus Trips to Willamette Pass:
We're setting up the bus system with Willamette Pass this week and getting everything squared away. Because of this we will NOT have a trip this weekend (1/9 & 1/10). Trips will be up and running next week.
For bus trips it looks like you will be able to pay online for yourself instead of going to a meeting to sign up for each trip. Buses will pick members up on campus at a location to be decided.

2. Club Tee-Shirts and IDS. Orders have been placed for both products. Shirts will most likely be done in a week or two. ID's should be ready next week. We will have a meeting time and place to pick those up once they're done.

WANT TO SIGN UP FOR THE CLUB? $15 to become a member, covers ID card and T-shirt. Bus trips are paid trip by trip basis.
If you're looking to sign up for the club we have office hours and meeting times listen below.
Thursday 1/7: EMU Club Sports Office 11:30AM-1:00PM. Justin will be in the circular table in the middle of the office. DO NOT ask the receptionist where to sign up, walk in and talk to Justin.
Thursday 1/7: EMU Fishbowl (2nd floor next to Subway - circular glass room): 6:00-6:30PM
Friday 1/8: EMU Club Sports Office 12:00PM-4:00PM I will be in the same spot listed above. Walk in and look for me at the circular table.

COMPETITION TEAM MANDATORY MEETING:
If you're interested in joining the competition team or think you might be but still have questions you MUST make it to one of the two meetings listed below:
Thursday 1/7: EMU Fishbowl (2nd floor next to Subway - circular glass room) 6:30-6:45.
Friday 1/8: EMU Club Sports Office 12:00-4:00PM - Circular table in the middle of the room.

Comp. Members practice at Willamette Pass weekly for practice, will be helping construct the park there with Tactics and the mountain. We also ride up in vans instead of on a bus. There will be 4 or 5 competitions at Mt. Bachelor this year throughout winter term. Members must become van certified, attend at least 2 competitions, attend 80% of practices at Willamette. Dues will be between $50-$100. You must provide you own equipment and pass.

If you're even on the fence about joining the competitive team make it to the meeting. We must have all members signed up on team waivers and insurance forms by the end of the week. If you decide later you don't want to compete, that is fine. But you want to make sure you're signed up in time before the cut off.

Lastly we will be throwing a video premier towards the end of the month. More info on that in the next few days.

Please email us if you have ANY questions about any of this info.

Cheers,
Mike
