The UO Snowboarding Club is part of the University of Oregon Club Sports. The Snowboarding Club was particularly founded for freestyle riders:

Anyone who fits in the following categories are absolutely welcome to join the club: those who are dedicated to progressing as a UO Snow Athlete, those who desire to shred with other mountain-lovers, those who want to get involved in the "snow-culture," and/or those who desire to learn and teach others.
The main focus of our club is to share the love of powder with other fellow club members.
We have a history of having a very open and easy going attitude. We accept riders of all ability levels, and we have even helped those who have never ridden before to improve and develop a passion for the sport. If you think you suck, don't worry, you are welcome to join! We all start somewhere, even professional snowboarders like Travis Rice, Shaun White, and Danny Kass.
Members have the opportunity to compete in local slope style, half-pipe, and an occasional boarder-cross event if they desire to compete. Once the competition slots are full, only the best of the best will represent Team Oregon and be allowed to join the competitions. Those worthy will be decided by a panel of judges.
We compete, get sweet deals on brand name gear, and best of all have a blast on the mountain with other students that have the same love for the sport.
THIS GROUP PAGE is here as a tool to help organize, communicate, and educate UO Snowboard Club members and those who are interested in joining. Use it to talk to each other, and to find out what is going on. Don't be shy!
We will post when trips are going up to various mountains and other important club details...
Looking forward to a great season!!!
