This is a group for the members, and/or fans of the Capoeira Club at Assumption.

Meetings are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm - 8pm in the Plourde aerobics room. The club gives students a chance to experience this exotic art form from Brazil in the comfort of Worcester.

Club members learn basic dodges and kicks (sometimes more advanced moves), as well as the culture and history behind capoeira. Anyone is welcome to join, whether you have prior experience in martial arts or not. Don't be discouraged if you think you "could never do that" because everyone starts somewhere! (read less)
