Welcome to the Alabama Zeta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, founded at the University of South Alabama in 1980.
Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) is a national pre-health honor society which gives students the opportunity to meet other pre-health students, get involved in service/volunteer projects, and gather information on health profession fields. We are an organization for students preparing for careers in the graduate health professions of medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, physician assistants, and more.
We encourage excellence and exemplary character, and we try our best to give ample opportunities to give back to our university and to our community.
To become a member of AED you must be an affiliate member for three consecutive semesters. An affiliate member is someone who has earned a minimum of 14 credits for that semester, maintained a 3.2 G.P.A., and paid chapter dues.
