Speaker: J. Paul Dokas, CFA
Mr. Dokas is the Vice President of Investment Planning and Analysis at Hirtle, Callaghan & Company. Prior to his position at Hirtle Callaghan, he was the Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Delaware Investments where he managed $8 billion in investments. Previous to that, Mr. Dokas was the Director for Trust Investment at Bell Atlantic. He received his B.A. from Loyola College in 1983 and his M.B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1985. Mr. Dokas is a CFA charter holder and a member of Hirtle Callaghan's Investment Policy Committee.

Spring 2008 - DIG Virtual Stock Exchange Trading Competition - Congratulations to Sam Bapasola for winning the competition and receiving the top prize of a free iPod donated by the Lebow College of Business.
4/8/08 – Companies including Susquehanna International Group, BlackRock, JPMorganChase, and Penn Capital Management, attended our “DIG Top Finance Co-Op Networking Event” to meet DIG members interested in positions. It was a great opportunity to meet possible co-op or full time employers.
3/10/08 – The Employment Opportunities in Asia Student Panel was very enlightening about work opportunities overseas.
1/15/08 - Drexel alum John Phillips, Regional Director of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), discussed the organization and the designation of Financial Risk Manager.
11/27/07 - DIG held our first ever "Discussion Group" event where we discussed the functionality of Yahoo Finance and how to use it for all its worth.
Wall Street Month was a huge success!
11/1/07 - "A Night at the Movies" with guest Vanguard, who came to campus to provide in-depth information about their career opportunities and unique company culture.
10/17/07 - A virtual panel of recent LeBow graduates that have transitioned into positions on Wall Street and in the financial sector presented tips and tactics for successfully landing a position. In addition, three current undergraduate students spoke on their Summer Analyst experiences this past summer term at Goldman Sachs.
10/2/07 – Our 1st general meeting was a huge success. Over 150 students came out, enthusiastic and interested. We introduced the current executive board, spoke about the events of the upcoming term, and discussed leadership positions that will be come available to current members.
5/17/07 – Representatives from the CFA Institute as well as Drexel Alumni who hold CFA charters hosted a panel discussion to explain how you can earn the title “CFA” and how it can make your financial career more rewarding than ever!
4/10/07 – Attalus Capital speakers Robert Serhus and Paul Respicio discussed their role as a Hedge Fund of Funds and shed some light on the industry as a whole. For more info on Attalus' co-op, or to apply, please email DIG for contact info!
02/20/07 – Bear Stearns speaker and Drexel Alumnus Zoya Raynes ('99) discussed investment banking and career services.
01/30/07 – 1st Annual Poker Tournament with guest speaker Todd Simkin (Susquehanna International Group) This event was a huge success... thanks to all who attended.
