The Latin American Studies Club (LASC) serves as a support group for ALL Midshipmen of the Brigade and provides the opportunity to gather and learn more about the Hispanic/Latino culture and the Spanish language.

**Mission Statement**
To cultivate an appreciation of the Hispanic/Latino community and to educate ourselves and others about the growing Hispanic/Latino society across the United States and the U.S. Fleet. We strive to embrace and better our understanding of the Hispanic/Latino cultures by providing midshipmen with the opportunity to learn more about the political and cultural differences of the various Latino communities and by encouraging the Brigade of Midshipmen to be a more open and diverse society.
