IMPACT is a student union of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Straight Ally (LGBTQA) students at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. IMPACT will serve as a safe, confidential, and open space for discussion, support, and activism for LGBTQA students. IMPACT shall not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, class, or ability.

HERE IS OUR TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

- Wed. September 23rd @ 7:00 pm
Gym Night. Outdoor volleyball and other fun games. VOTING for treasurer. Location: Sand volleyball pits by Athletic Complex. (By lot 9)

- Wed. September 30th @ 7:00 pm
CRAFT NIGHT! We will have fun making crafts to sell for fundraising. Also, establishment of committees: Fundraising, homecoming, outreach, community service… etc Location: Jitters Coffeehouse (Wells East)

- Wed. October 7th @ 7:00 pm
ALLY NIGHT! Bring your favorite LGBT Ally to our meeting! We will be doing the Star Activity and share coming out stories afterwards. We will show our appreciation for LGBT Allies by baking cookies for them! Bake cookies for our Allies and we will have cookies and milk! Location: Jitters Coffeehouse (Wells East)

- October 14th @ 7:00 pm
Homecoming planning. Work on homecoming “stuff”… variety show, float etc. Location: Jitters Coffeehouse (Wells East)

- Week of October 21st
HOMECOMING EVENTS! No “regular” meeting!

- Wednesday October 28th @ 7pm - The Family Bead in the Warkhawk Involvement Center - Sponsored by the PRC

- (THURSDAY) October, 29th @ 8:00 pm
CLUB NIGHT! 18 and up night at PLAN B! Come dance with IMPACT. (under 21 - $10, over 21 $5) Location: Plan B (924 Williamson Street)

- Wed. November 4th @ 7:00 pm
MOVIE NIGHT! Collaboration with the Women’s Resource Center and the Pride Resource Center for the documentary “Mom's Apple Pie; The Heart of Lesbian Mother's Custody Movement.” With a discussion afterwards. Location: Summers Auditorium

- Wed. November 11th @ 7:00 pm
Fundraiser / Charity Event planning meeting. Location: Jitters Coffeehouse (Wells East)

- Wed. November 18th@ 7:00 pm
BOWLING with another student group (still figuring out who). Location: Rec Center in the UC

- Wed. December 2nd @ 7 p.m.
Drag show or party. FUNDRAISER. Location: TBA (Hamilton Center most likely)

- Wed. December 9th @ 7:00 pm
Last meeting for the semester. Potluck! Location: Jitters Coffeehouse (Wells East)
