WORSHIP
We meet every Wednesday night at 7:30 pm for a Compline worship on campus, at the top (head) of the Geisel Library “Snake Path.” Afterwards, come share coffee with everyone!
Once a month, on the first Wednesdays at 5:30 pm at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, we celebrate the Eucharist, a beautiful liturgy involving communion, followed by refreshments and a relevant speaker, ranging from local clergy, leaders, visionaries, academics and activists.
SERVICE
Virtually every week there are opportunities to connect with other students and the world through service, education, or just fun outings. We care passionately about our world. We have a partner Campus Ministry in San Salvador, El Salvador and once a year a group from UCSD travels there to walk with them.
We also make quarterly trips to Dorcas House in Tijuana, Mexico! Dorcas House is a mission of St. Paul's Cathedral, San Diego, and we visit there to hang out with the kids. The children who live there have parents who are in prison, or the kids have been put there by social services. We visit to sing, play soccer, and dance with them, so that we can know them better and grow with that knowledge. Plus, we get a lot better at soccer! It's a day-long trip, but well worth it!
If you haven’t made it out yet to any of our events, please don’t be shy! We are a small, welcoming group with liberal social and theological ideas. We have wonderful resources available if you are interested in finding a church, becoming active as a young adult in the church, or just want to hangout and meet people.
Peace,
