Thurgood Marshall Legal Society is the University of Texas School of Law chapter of the Black Law Students Association.
The Thurgood Marshall Legal Society, or TMLS, strives to increase the number of African-American students at the University of Texas School of Law by participating in recruiting programs and reaching out to high school and college students. TMLS is also committed to helping incoming African-American law students transition to law school by offering moving and housing information, sponsoring 1L academic workshops, and providing upperclass mentors.
