Kazan Taiko was founded in 2002 by a group of dedicated taiko enthusiasts. Kazan performs on request at various events on campus for other campus organizations such as APASA, Nikkei, TCDance, ISA, and many more.
Members of Kazan Taiko represent a diverse range of the student body from freshmen undergrads to graduates, from engineering to cinema majors, from anime otakus to dragonboat athletes.
There is no tryout/audition process for Kazan - anyone is welcome to join!
Practices are:
- Monday 8-9:30pm, meet @ VKC courtyard
- Thursday 6-8 pm @ Senshin Buddhist Temple
Annual Membership Fee: $20
