As you know, TDK has done extremely well for itself. So far, its earned $513 million domestically and $440 million internationally. (Congratulations to the director, cast ad crew.) It hasn't gotten past Titanic yet, but after the recent decision by Warner Bros., I think it just might happen.
Knowing that the hype from TDK still has yet to die down, WBs has made plans to rerelease the blockbuster in January! But its not just about the pleasing the fanbase, they chose the month of of January because it'll be very close to voting time for the Academy Awards.
Smart move, Warner Brothers. Keep it up!
TDK will release on DVD and Blu-Ray sometime in December. Who knew Christmahannakwanza would come *twice* this year?!
