HELLO, SALAAM NAMASTE, ADAB & SAT SRI AKAL. A Big Welcome to all the Indians, Pakistanis, Americans, Europeans and everyone else who respects and admires India and Indians..
All of us who wear cotton clothes, use the decimal system "count", enjoy the taste of chicken, play chess, roll dice and seek peace in mind or tranquility thru meditation are indebted to INDIANS.
Like Mark Twain once said " In religion and culture, India is the only millionaire! There is only one India, the land of dreams and romance. The land all men desire to see and having seen once, by even a glimpse, would not give that glimpse for the shows of all the rest of the globe combined. India is cradle of human race, the birth place of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grandmother of tradition. Our most valuable and most intrusive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India".
INDIA. A magic island of quiet impartial research in the midst of a world of clashing swords, burning towns and plundered temples. We belong to a land where even Alexander bowed his head, the land which is feeding or have fed over a billion Englishmen, the land where we say no Hindu, no Muslim, no Sikh, no Asia. Our home and the home to such figures like Guru Nanak, Gautam Buddha, Bhagat Singh and many more saints and soldiers.
The land we call our mother. INDIA. Those that call India their home are known as INDIANS. Belonging to a nation that was and one day again be called the "the golden bird" or as "sikander" alexandra put it "sohnie di chirhi".
The purpose of this group is to simply bring everyone together and to appreciate the nation of INDIA. The purpose of ISCA is to bring the community together on and off campus through cultural event.
