Theopedia is an online encyclopedia of Biblical Christianity. If you're familiar with Wikipedia, it works the same way.
The vision of this wiki is to provide a center of information for the Christian Church with the purpose and goal of encouraging and challenging the church worldwide. Contributors spend time collecting links to other helpful websites, published articles, online books, pictures, etc. so that anyone interested in a specific topic, person, or event, can begin at Theopedia. People who feel they know little about theological issues can come to Theopedia and begin to learn during their spare time. Missionaries who do not have the money or room for books can use Theopedia’s articles as a resource on theology, church history, etc. It saves time because the research is already completed, or in process (i.e., you don't have to spend hours surfing the 'net for helpful information). This is the vision - this is where Theopedia wants to be and what it strives to become.
Please join the effort. Some articles are very developed, while others are partially written and need more material. Feel free to simply check out the site and offer any suggestions, insights, or comments.
