The night September the 8th something very tragic happened on campus. There was a drive by shooting at the intersection of 1st Street and Martin Avenue. If you don't know where this is, it is by FIJI, Alpha Chi Omega and Theta Tau. A freshman girl was critically wounded in the shooting. As I am writing this she is in surgery, and I am, as is everyone else who knows about this is praying that she pulls through. The event that sparked this drive by seems to be an argument at the near by taco bell. I think we should all take a step back and think about how we deal with situations, because the consequences can be so terrible. Maybe if we decided to let things go rather than get angry and violent about them, they would not escalate to such a ridiculous level.
