UPCOMING PUBLIC SHOWS FALL/WINTER 2009:


1.) FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25 - THE MIXED NUTS "JOURNEY TRIBUTE" at ROCK N BOWL! 10pm. Come get ready for the Journey concert in the Arena by jamming out the night before with the only band in town that's actually played with JOURNEY!! The NUTS were fortunate enough to perform "DONT STOP BELIEVING" with Journey in the Superdome in 2007....so, to get ready for their return, THE NUTS will be performing a special TRIBUTE TO JOURNEY at ROCK N BOWL! THIS IS A SHOW NOT TO BE MISSED!! Maybe even a JOURNEY member or two might show up....

2.) FRIDAY OCTOBER 16 - SOUTHPORT HALL, NEW ORLEANS! THINK PINK CANCER BENEFIT!
Make plans to join The Mixed Nuts with AMERICAN IDOL CONTESTANT JASON CASTRO for a crazy night at Southport Hall in New Orleans. Money raised goes to CANCER RESEARCH! Doors open at 8pm. Show starts at 9pm. Tickets are $20 at the door.

3.) THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5 - THE VARSITY @ LSU! OK, Baton Rouge! THIS IS IT! The Nuts are back at the BIG HOUSE @ The Varsity for ONE NIGHT ONLY this semester! This special THURSDAY show is going to be the WILDEST, BIGGEST Mixed Nuts show EVER as we gear up for the big LSU vs. ALABAMA game that weekend! DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW! Doors at 8pm!

4.) SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8 - MOUNT CARMEL ACADEMY FAIR. The Nuts party with The Cubs on Sunday November 8 at The Mount Carmel Annual Fall Fest, held at the school's campus on Robert E Lee Blvd. The Nuts hit the stage at 6pm following the Saints Vs Carolina game!

5.) SUNDAY NOVEMBER 15 - SACRED HEART NORCO School Fair! RIVER PARISHES, THE NUTS ARE COMING FOR YOU! Join us at Sacred Heart Norco for a fun-filled Sunday afternoon with The Mixed Nuts as the band wraps up the 2009 Fest with a bang. Showtime is 6pm following the Saints vs. St Louis game.

6.) FRIDAY NOVEMBER 27 - ST. ANDREWS BENEFIT FUNDRAISER @ The Cricket Club. This VERY special event is for a fantastic cause, The St Andrew's Village. Tickets are $60 and more information is available at: www.saintandrewsvillage.org. Please help us on Thanksgiving week to support this fantastic community. Showtime: 8pm-11pm

7.) SATURDAY DECEMBER 26 - MID-CITY LANES ROCK N BOWL "DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS SHOW"! So, you've opened all your presents, your family is driving you crazy, and you can't wait to wear all those new pairs of underwear....GET YOUR BUTT out The MID-CITY LANES ROCK N BOWL, DEC 26, for The Mixed Nuts POST CHRISTMAS CONCERT! It's a Nawlin's Christmas Tradition to party with The Nuts the after Santa, so make plans to work off that Chrizzmus Dinner and party with The Nuts on DEC 26 @ ROCK N BOWL! ************** TEN YEAR CONCERT*************

On December 28th, 2008, The Mixed Nuts celebrated TEN YEARS OF NUTS at Mid-City Lanes Rock N Bowl with a concert and CD Release party. Over 550 packed Mid-City Lanes to support the band's decade of music making! What a fantastic crowd! The Nuts performed songs from their past decade together...with a lot of songs from 1998-1999 era, like Smash Mouth and Blues Traveler.

The Nuts were joined on stage by members of The Topcats, The Bag Of Donuts, and The Bucktown Allstars who all came out in celebration of The Nuts big night!

As always, The Nuts thank Mr. John Blancher, the owner of The Mid-City Lanes for a fantastic ten year run! Dec 28 2008 was TEN YEARS TO THE DAY that the band first played at Mid-City Lanes! Ten Years Down The Road....The Nuts are STILL kickin' ass and lovin' it!
