(2) Fresh Media – October 24, 2009

(3) Media Democracy Day (MDD) – November 7, 2009
The CMNSU is actively supporting MDD. Media Democracy Day (MDD) is one-day conference consisting of a media democracy fair, panels, workshops, and public speakers centered around:
*Education: understanding how the media shapes our world and democracy
*Protest: against a media system based on commercialization and exclusiveness
*Change: calls for media reforms that respond to public interest, promote diversity, and ensure community representation and accountability.
