It is reported that other "omnipresent" trans-national corporations & pure-for-profit companies have also jumped on the Facebook bandwagon. Our soul is our group. Not the pound, not the dollar, just teachers and no fancy logos.
The point is to verify everyone, that is the beauty of such a group. So, if you don't belong to a network and no one can vouch for you may be removed. If you obviously work for a pure-for-profit soliciting other, zapped!
As you most likely know most TEFL companies are pure-for-profit ventures designed to make owners outside of local communities rich, commonly known as "TEFL mills" or "diploma mills". The fact is "TEFL" is simply a methodology, that is it. No organization's TEFL certification is better than the next if you learn the skills you need to succeed.
