Wear a red ribbon in support of World AIDS Day on your Facebook page!
You can find a red ribbon in the album I created on my page, as my default picture or as the uploaded photo accompanying this note - just save it to your picture folder and then add it as your default picture on Facebook, and carry it over to your Myspace accounts as well if you have them. I know some of you might be sad to change your carefully selected default pictures, but it's only for one day and it's for an amazing cause that is so important to me. As friends of mine, I ask you to support it as well.

The red ribbon has been an international symbol of HIV for fifteen years. Wear one as a sign that together we CAN stop the spread of HIV and end prejudice.
Wearing a red ribbon is one of the easiest ways you can make a difference on 1 December. Not just by wearing one yourself, but also encouraging your friends, colleagues and family to wear one as well.

In the UK alone, more than 60,000 people are living with HIV and more than 7,000 more are diagnosed every year. Ignorance and prejudice are fuelling the spread of a preventable disease.
World AIDS Day, December 1 is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS. This year, it's up to you, me and us to stop the spread of HIV and end prejudice.
