STAND is still pressing for divestment and is exapanding both its demands and the scope of its mobilization. There is plenty to be done and we need smart, talented and motivated people to do it, so STAND is calling for volunteers in all areas of organizations from publicity, to events planning, to media, to fund (and general hell)-raising. We meet every Tuesday in Harper, so come along to get involved. Sign on to our listserve to find out exactly when and where. Hope to see you there.

STAND has partnered with our sister organization, the Coalition for Immediate Divestment (CID) to keep pressing the University to divest its asssets from companies supporting the Khartoum Regime. CID is dedicated to direct action on the Univeristy Administration and Board of Trustees and is pressuring them in ways that STAND cannot. STAND fully supports CID and its action and encourages everyone dedicated to ending our University's complicity in genocide to support them as well.
