- The 2009-2010 year is off and running!
The Women’s Center is a hub for student union activism, advocacy, and feminism. The goal of the Center is to advocate for the best educational and working environment for the women at the University of Oregon.
Our fabulous staff plan events throughout the year ranging from Take Back the Night, a rally and march to end sexual violence, to the Women of Color Speaker Series, a collection of speakers who turn a critical eye on the world to expose oppression of all forms.
We would love to meet you! Consider this open house a networking opportunity complete with food and drinks. We want to know how we can advocate for you or help support your organization or event.
This is also a great way to get involved. Although we have a hired staff, we rely on volunteers to make all of our events happen. Come learn how you can contribute to the Women’s Center!
If you can’t make the Open House, feel free to stop by and hang out whenever our door is open. Our office space is yours to share and our staff are always willing to answer questions or offer assistance.
We are located in the bottom floor of the EMU across from the Craft Center. Hope to see you there!
