This group is dedicated to the genius that is Mr Joe Dolce. Dolce was responsible for writing and performing one of the greatest and most ludicrous songs in the history of music, 'Shaddap You Face'. This was acknowledged in Feb 1981 when it reached number one in the UK charts! It was so good it stayed at number one for 3 weeks and hit the number one spot in 15 other countries. Even more fantastic is this 100% genuine fact....It remained the most successful song (in terms of sales) in Australian music history for 25 years until it was overtaken in 2005.

CORRECTION: I have been reliably informed by the man himself that 'Shaddap You face' IS still the best selling song in Australian music history. This is a genuine fact as Mr Dolce explains:

"Shaddap is STILL king in Australia - 27 years strong. There were bogus claims by various winners of Australian Idol about breaking the record - but their accounting methods have been shown to be dodgy (ie. declaring sales when in fact it was merely records shipped out - later to be returned). So the Garlic has not left the building and the fat Italian lady has not finished Her set!"
