This is the Largest Obama facebook Group. We started before the Campaign was official and because of all your help as volunteers, donors, and supporters, Obama was successfully able to win the election!

• Photos must be directly related to a positive image of Barack Obama. Any advertisements, unrelated pictures or doctored ones with a purpose to defame Barack's image will be immediately removed and the member posting them may be banned. Otherwise, please feel free to post pictures from Barack Obama events, pictures of you and your friends wearing Obama shirts, etc. Please refrain from posting duplicates or multiple similar photos to keep the photo section clean.
---- Message Board ----
• There will be no curse words in topic titles, or that topic will be deleted immediately. However, curse words are okay within a thread as long as they are not used to attack a group or an individual.
• There will be no excessive use of CAPS or ***symbols*** in topic titles. They do nothing but distract from the other threads on the message board.
• All members of the group must be respectful to one another, even to those who aren't Obama supporters. You are welcome to speak in support or opposition of the topics presented, but always make sure you are attacking the issue and not the person.
• Being disruptive just for the sake of being disruptive will not be tolerated.
• If a thread does not pertain to politics or world affairs, mark it as "OT" (Off-topic) in the thread title. Otherwise, it will be deleted.
• Threads must contain some sort of information, argument, or substance. Threads that do not will be deleted immediately. For example, the following threads would not acceptable:
Topic: Obama is cool!
Body: Don’t you think so??
Topic: Obama stinks!
Body: He really does.
• There will be no false or baseless attacks on any person or politician on this board. If you wish to attack someone, be sure to provide sufficient evidence to support your attack. But keep in mind that there are people who have fallen victim to the spread of false attacks and may post out of curiosity in order to find out if the information is true. These types of threads are encouraged so that we can educate those who have been misled.
• Spamming and advertising will not be tolerated. This includes both websites and other facebook groups.
• Keep it appropriate. Don't post pictures with children with their faces blown off, don't make threads with links to pornography, don't make threads describing your recent sexual experiences, etc.
• Harassment of other members will not be tolerated. If a member complains about harassment, one warning will be given to the offender and if the behavior continues a ban will follow. In order to submit a complaint, you must send a message to one of the group moderators. We do not receive your complaints when you click the "Report" button.
*** Most of the time, moderators will give timed warnings before deleting a thread in order to let the poster know why their thread is being deleted, as well as giving other members of the group a chance to defend the thread if they want to.***
*** Excessively breaking any of the rules will result in either a temporary or permanent ban from the group.***
