OK everyone, you need to invite all your UC Davis friends to this event, no exceptions. We need a lot of people for this. It will not happen if we do not get at least 100 people.


I am attempting to organize a flashmob infront of the UC DAVIS BOOKSTORE at 12:00 pm on THURSDAY, February 1st.

If you do not know what a flashmob is, it is just about the fucking funniest, most hilarious thing ever:

A flashmob describes a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, and then quickly disperse. (Read about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flashmob )

SO here's the plan for OUR flashmob:

1.) Everyone who is participating gathers around the front of the bookstore (near the ATM machines, ect), at around 11:50-11:55. Be doing something that doesn't make anything loo suspicious. Don't laugh. Read a newspaper, a book, or talk to your friends or something. Spread out: do not make the mob yet!

2.) If you are going to come, participate, don't be a stand-by. The point of this is to get people's reactions, not to perform for a crowd of people who are too shy to do this in public.

3.) As the tower begins to chime (as the 12 chimes start), stop whatever you are doing, and walk over to the ATM machines, gather around whoever is on the machines and start clapping and cheering for them as loudly as you can.

4.) When the chimes are over (or at about 12:01pm), everyone stop immeadiately, and walk away in opposite directions, like nothing ever happened.

IF this goes right, it will be fucking hilarious, so please come and make it happen. I promise you this will be great if all goes perfectly.
