We're a group of volunteers in L.A. working to fight climate change and help poor farmers around the world. We do this mostly by going to concerts (with our free passes!) and collecting signatures for the petition Oxfam America will be delivering to Obama & McCain. It asks them to commit the U.S. to "stop harming and stop helping" -- to not only reduce emissions but also help poor farmers adapt to the increased floods and droughts they're already experiencing. You can sign it online!

Oxfam is a well-respected organization with branches in over 100 countries. They have been working for over 50 years to create lasting solutions to poverty: changing policies and giving the poor the means to improve their lives, not just handouts. This year they have launched a grassroots climate change campaign with action corps like ours in 13 cities:

We are always looking for more volunteers to join us in our efforts! Aside from concerts, we will be visiting our members of Congress and writing letters both to Congress and "to the editor". You can join us here on Facebook and our Google group:
