What is it?
The DivaCup is an internally-worn reusable menstrual cup. It’s made of medical grade silicone, which is 100% hypoallergenic, latex-free and odorless. Is it Safe?
The DivaCup™ is approved by the FDA in the United States. The first menstrual cups were made in the 1930’s, and now have been developed into a safe, FDA approved, guaranteed product for women.

How long does it last?
At least for 10 years, for most women longer.

Why are they better than tampons or pads?
We all accept the safety of tampons and pads because they are marketed to us as safe, and appear white and are thus clean and sterile. Unfortunately they are not. They are bleached white with chlorine, which poses health risks as well as chlorine bleach being a carcinogenic toxin (also known as dioxin). The vagina is self-cleansing and continually producing fluid (mucous) that carries away dead cells and bacteria. Tampons (rayon or cotton) are absorbing this protective mucous and can disrupt the normal acidic vaginal environment, making your subject to bacterial infections and Toxic Shock Syndrome.
