WONDROUS WEDDINGS – AFRICAN STYLE
This is How We Do It!

Ghana, Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania... and many more. We, as the BHF Team, are asking for an invite to your weddings to capture the sights, sounds, tastes, textures through our lens and our writing.

Kicking off in England, we are on a journey to document the vigour and vibrancy of African weddings in a project we hope to eventually carry out in the US, Europe, Africa and worldwide. With a professional photographer and a BHF writer, we would like to visit your venue for a couple of hours to capture the atmosphere through an array of photographs which will then be showcased on the pages of BHF alongside an editorial detailing all aspects of the wedding. Whether your celebration is an all out African affair, or a low-key event where African elements meet Western influences, we would like to showcase the diversity of African wedding celebrations.

BHF will be showcasing one wedding per month which will be selected from applicants on the merit of your application, and we will do our best to feature a different part of Africa every month.

If you would like to have your wedding featured in BHF, send us your application with an attached photo of the bride and groom via e-mail to sinem@bhfmagazine.com or info@bhfmagazine.com
Your application should include the following:

Country of origin for both bride and groom:
Wedding and reception venue:
Date and time of wedding:
Style (type of wedding):
Use of traditional attires:
Use of national/regional cuisine:
Use of traditional music:
Any other indigenous traditions:
