In the summer of 2007 Team SNH from the University of Kent at Canterbury are taking part in the Student Breakaway challenge. Team SNH aim to complete this event and to travel across Europe to raise money for various charities.

Student Breakaway, previously the Student Gumball Rally, is an adventure of epic proportions. It involves students from all over the United Kingdom driving across Europe to experience the different and varied cultures that these countries have to offer. An estimated 1000 students will take part in this years event.

The Route:

Team SNH intends to drive a classic London black cab from the event start in Brighton through Kent to Dover where they will catch the ferry to France. They will then travel through France into the south of Spain, then return through Germany, Italy and Belgium before catching the ferry back to England.

The team aim to cover a distance of 3500 miles in 15 days experiencing various different cultures and cities along the way.
