- EWB is working on an International Water Project in the Dominican Republic. Feel free to help out by attending any of our meetings. This Spring they are in ENB 346 at 6pm on Monday evenings (Summer 2009).
USF's Engineers Without Borders student chapter sent its first group of members to the Dominican Republic on July 18, 2008. The second trip brought several students in the summer of 2008. During this trip, members including students and professionals explored the needs of the community of Miramar. Upon returning, plans for installation of a well and water tank commenced.
The trip is completely funded by students. If you'd like to help either with a monetary contribution or by volunteering your time, please send an email to ewbusf@gmail.com.
Implementation is in July of 2009!!!! We are still looking for volunteers. Please contact us if interested.
