JON'S HISTORY AS A STAND-UP
In his first ever gig (May 2003); Jon won his heat of the BBC New Talent Comedy Search. He also reached the Semi-Finals of the Laughing Horse New Act competition.
Quickly developing throughout 2004 he was one of six acts to reach the final of the J20 Last Laugh Comedy Search.
Having impressed a sell-out crowd in Bristol he marked the end of his first year in comedy with a performance at the Criterion Theatre in London's West End. Judges Jasper Carrot and Dave Spikey were both "extremely impressed" with Jon's performance.
2006 was a great year for Jon after appearing on the Comedy Zone at the Edinburgh Festival, completing a 60 date UK and Irish tour with Alan Carr and an appearance on Paramount's 'The Comedy Store' but 2007 was set to be even bigger and better.
Spatula Pad was Jon's Edinburgh show at the Pleasance Courtyard which won him the title of if.comedy Best Newcomer Nominee 2007

Jon held the fort for two weeks with one of our very own members; Mark Olver! Then, he had Touchy McToot (John Robins) for the preceding 2 weeks and then Alan Carr, Michael Mcintyre and then Matt Forde.
