- Call Out for V-Mon Director:
The Women's Resource and Research Center, in collaboration with the Consortium for Women and Research, is pleased to announce that the The Vagina Monologues will be performed again this year, in February 2010. We are now searching for a Director for this year's performance.
Anyone is welcome to apply. Women, women-identified folks, and women with intersections of identities are strongly encouraged to apply. Theater experience is a plus, but not required. The most important requirement for directing The Vagina Monologues is the desire to build a larger womyn-centered or feminist community at UC Davis, in the City of Davis and with the larger V-Day initiative: http://www.vday.org/.
To apply: Submit a resume and a paragraph (300 words or less) answering the following question: How do you envision the role of Director for The Vagina Monologues building a womyn-centered or feminist community at UC Davis?
Application deadline: Friday, October 30, 2009 by 5PM.
Please submit applications via e-mail to Michelle Yates: myates@ucdavis.edu
