The Simple staff are changing things up a bit in the Simple Scrapbooks group. We're going to do weekly page challenges for prizes. We'll be announcing them every Tuesday on Facebook, in the Simple group at http://www.simplescrapbooksmag.com, and on the Studio Blog at http://www.simplescrapbooksmag.typepad.com/simple_studio. If you have time to participate in the challenges, great! If not, you're just as welcome to cheer on those who do or be a spectator.
Weekly Challenge
Make The Most Of Your Buttons!
This week’s challenge comes straight from the “Make The Most Of It” column from the NEW January/February issue. Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is create a layout using your favorite stash of buttons. For some beautiful ideas from Margaret Scarbrough, see page 18 of the issue or see her blog post on the Simple Studio blog at http://www.simplescrapbooks.typepad.com/simple_studio/.
Post your layouts in the Simple group gallery by Sunday, December 14 for your chance to win a HUGE bag of buttons handpicked by the Simple staff. Be sure to title the file (not the layout) “Make The Most Of It” so we can find the contest entries. (Note the quote marks are important).

Haven’t joined our Simple Group? No problem, visit http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/component/option,com_groupjive/task,listposts/groupid,33/ and follow these six simple steps:
1. If you don't have a profile yet, set one up by visiting
simplescrapbooksmag.com, then clicking on "see the new website". When you get to the new website, look for "Not a member?" and click to sign up.
2. Have fun adding your avatar, uploading layouts, posting comments, all that fun stuff.
3. Now click on the "groups" tab.
4. Search for "Simple Scrapbooks" in the search field.
5. When you see the group with the Simple Scrapbooks logo and a picture of Wendy & Angie on it, click on "join group" (anyone can join!)
6. Click "post project to group", and then you can add any of the layouts from your profile to the group!
