The Philosophy Club hopes everyone enjoyed O Week this year. It looked like everyone was having a lot of fun!

Open Day!!!
Yesterday's Open Day was lots and lots of fun. There were philosophy club people everywhere!! To be honest, you couldn't miss them. Our costumes are becoming more and more outrageous as the days go by. We should mention to those wishing to join the club that you will not be forced to run around campus in costume... that's just our president's guilty pleasure, not that she'd ever admit to it! We love you, Kylie!

Trivia Night has been postponed.
Yes, I'm afraid it's true. We've had to cancel the trivia night for the time being, but rest assured that it will still take place later this semester. See you round, my friends!

CLUBS MARKET DAY!!!
Well, I must say, good job to all the club members who dressed up a mosied over to campus for Clubs Market Day. Fun was had by all.
Jonathan and Kat sang and danced through the Arts Building (including Level 4, but it was totally empty... spooky...).
Hopefully, Open Day will be just as much fun!! Speaking of which, it would be good to get a couple more volunteers to help out the club on that day :)

Both the Eye of the Heart Journal Launch and the Philosophy Club dinner went swimmingly.
There were some wonderful speeches at the launch, some traditional Indonesian music and dancing and a fabulous capsicum dip!
The Philosophy Club dinner was fantastically entertaining. As a result of discussions had at the dinner we have added another topic to the discussion board. So please have a say. The topic is 'Is mythology the true science?'.
We should have an events timetable for next semester up shortly.
