Saturday, November 14, 8:30pm, Singing with the Stars

Come hang out with friends and sing along to the LASER BEATLES: SGT. PEPPER’S LASER LIGHT SHOW at the De Anza Planetarium (or just listen to others). Tickets are $9 per person and Parking permits are required everyday. Permits can be purchased in every student lot, price is $2 in coins or dollar bills only. So if you can carpool that is best. We’ll meet at 8:30pm at the Fujitsu Planetarium at De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd to get tickets for the show. Show starts at 9pm. JewsNextDor[at]beth-david.org

Saturday, November 21, 7pm, Spicy Havdala Dessert Party

It’s getting chilly outside, but T’KEYA and Jews’ Next Dor are warming things up with a Spicy Havdala Dessert Party. The night starts with cozy havdala goodness and fire, wine, and spices. You are welcome to bring your own implements of havdaluction. Our spice boxes can play together. Potluck dessert and wine party to follow. Join us! Please bring chocolate, fruit, a vegetarian dessert of choice, or your favorite kosher wine or spirit. Please note our host has a cat. Tuesday, December 1, 7pm, Toy Wrapping Party

Join SVYAD, Jew’s Next Dor and Jewish Family Services for our annual gift wrapping party!

Starting October 6, new toys for ages 0-17 in their original packaging, are being collected in the lobby of the Levy Family Campus (14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos CA 95032) and Congregation Beth David (19700 Prospect Road, Saratoga, Ca).
Toys will also be collected at Jews’ Next Dor events.
Toys will be distributed by Jewish Family Services.

Join us for a Toy Wrapping Party on Tuesday, Dec. 1
at 7 p.m. at the Levy Family Campus, (14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos CA 95032) . Snacks and fun provided.
Admission: one roll of non-holiday wrapping paper.

Join Jews’ Next Dor for a wintery Meet & Greet at Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant in Palo Alto, 643 Emerson St, Palo Alto, CA 94301! There’s no better place to enjoy a meal family style, while sharing in laughs and conversation with friends new and old from the South Bay’s Jewish Community. Please RSVP to JewsNextDor[at]beth-david.org, and include any menu requests (must be vegetarian/Kosher dairy). Expect to pay no more than $20/person (cash is necessary and $1’s are much appreciated.) Jews’ Next Dor is leading the Shabbat morning service at Congregation Beth David, 19700 Prospect Road, Saratoga, Ca. http://beth-david.org. Please join us if you’ll be participating, or just to support your friends and represent Jews’ Next Dor to the congregation, who supports us. Schmooze with your friends at the luncheon we’re sponsoring afterwards. Services begin at 9:30am, all males are required to wear a kippah, Beth David supplies some if you don’t have one.
